- Description
- Open to all bikes, built around the 8.50 index — open to various combinations and rider sizes.
- Format
- 1/4-mile 8.50 index class on a .400 pro tree (heads-up, 8.50 breakout). Must qualify below 8.90 E.T. when two qualifying runs are available.
- Pairings
- Paired randomly in the staging lanes until the field is down to 16 bikes or fewer, then placed on a sportsman ladder by reaction time from the previous round. With 17+ bikes and an odd number in round 1, the bye goes to the #1 qualifier (closest E.T. to 8.50 or up). With 16 or fewer entered in round 1, the field is laddered off qualifying E.T.
